The Melbourne Chamber of Commerce brings together Victoria’s most influential and iconic companies, business leaders and government representatives at local, state and federal level to affect policy, exchange ideas and lead Victorian business into the future. Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) delivers skills development advice and solutions to employers and job-seekers across Australia. The Victorian Chamber delivers ASA services in Victoria. Since 1998, the Victorian Chamber has partnered with more than 70,000 businesses and signed up more than 200,000 apprentices and trainees through its Australian Apprenticeship Centre. Administered independently but benefiting from the 164-year heritage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the team offer a range of services covering every stage of the apprenticeship cycle.
The Australian Chamber is Australia’s largest and most representative business network. Their members are state and territory chambers of commerce, national industry associations and a council of business leaders from individual enterprises. Together, they represent Australian businesses of all shapes and sizes, across all sectors of the economy, and from every corner of the country.
Australian Tourism Industry Council (ATIC) is the national representative body for the state and territory tourism industry councils who collectively, through their members, represents tourism regions, industry associations and businesses throughout Australia.
ATIC provides leadership and industry representation through a national voice for tourism, and manages national industry development through a quality tourism framework, namely the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program and Australian Tourism Awards.
The Quality Tourism Framework endorses quality tourism businesses across Australia’s three major tourism excellence programs, Australian Tourism Accreditation, Star Ratings Australia and the Australian Tourism Awards.
Businesses that successfully complete any of the above programs, including the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards, are eligible to display the Quality Tourism brand mark have met standards that set them apart as Quality Tourism Accredited Business.
The Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) is the peak body for Victoria’s tourism and events industry. VTIC provides leadership through ‘one voice’ advocacy and representation, and offers members business development services and networking opportunities. VTIC also manages two of the industry’s flagship annual events: The Vic Tourism Conference and the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards.
