Aboriginal Housing Australia

Aboriginal Housing Victoria - 25 years' membership

Aboriginal Housing Victoria is a not-for-profit registered Housing Association and is the largest Aboriginal housing organisation in Australia.

AHV owns 1,556 properties in Melbourne and regional Victoria providing affordable housing to over 4,000 low income Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians. AHV’s vision is that Aboriginal Victorians are able to secure appropriate, affordable housing as a pathway to better lives and stronger communities. Its housing services are targeted to those most in need of support.

City of Stonnington

City of Stonnington - 25 years' membership

City of Stonnington is the Council servicing South Yarra, Prahran, Windsor, Toorak, Armadale, Kooyong, Malvern and Malvern East.

OHS services and training courses are the Chamber benefits most utilised by the Council.

Harry and Larry

Harry and Larry's - 10 years' membership

In 1994 Harry and Larry's began manufacturing ice cream for their own retail stores. Their manufacturing has developed into the modern commercial plant they now have in Brunswick Victoria. In 2002 Harry and Larry's commenced wholesaling activities, supplying other ice cream retailers and restaurants. Harry and Larry's have now expanded manufacturing and supply into a number of high profile national accounts including:

  • Harry's Ice Cream Co
  • Coles Supermarkets
  • Pendleton Fine Foods

Rural Financial Counselling Service - Western Region of Victoria

Rural Financial Counselling Service Victoria - Wimmera South West Vic - 10 years' membership

RFCS is a free, independent, professional planning and support service for farmers. They provide support and information on financial and legal matters for rural farms, businesses and families in need of assistance. RFCS have a highly qualified team with extensive experience in farm planning and support. Their one on one support is professional, confidential and impartial.

Hamilton Regional Business Association

Hamilton Regional Business Association - 10 years' membership

HRBA aims to represent the local business community by providing support and advocacy on all matters relevant to commerce the region; by creating networking opportunities and the chance to build partnerships; by sharing information through the member newsletter; and working with local Government and organisations to create campaigns encouraging shopping locally.

Chris Mackey & Associates - 10 years' membership

Chris Mackey & Associates is a private psychology group practice of 24 years’ standing staffed by twelve psychologists. All psychologists have postgraduate qualifications in clinical, counselling or health psychology or neuropsychology. Their purpose is to help people of all ages transform psychological problems into personal growth. The practice first opened in 1995 and has developed to be the largest psychology practice in Geelong, employing 19 staff. 

Chris is also author of the book, Synchronicity: Empower your life with the gift of coincidence (see The second edition, The Positive Psychology of Synchronicity: Enhance your mental health with the power of coincidence, will be released around August, 2019.

Hamlan Homes

Hamlan Homes - 10 years' membership

Hamlan’s origins lie in Anglesea, where they began rebuilding homes after the 1983 Ash Wednesday fires. The time was right for a new approach to residential development and Hamlan excelled in offering purposeful homes with architectural flair. Today, they are Geelong’s largest locally owned and operated builder, employing a team of more than 50 permanent staff as well as onsite subcontractors. Well known for their functional, beautifully finished homes, they create a range of homes across the region – from breathtaking clifftop houses and inner city living through to acreage homes and custom builds. 

They love using our onsite training services and have used us on numerous occasion for the Workplace Relations Advice Line.

Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Inc - 25 years' membership

Education is a lifelong process. All Koorie people participate in the education of their families and communities. The Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Incorporated (VAEAI) is the peak Koorie community organisation for education and training in Victoria. They work for the community to build success in education and training.

The VAEAI use many of the Chamber's services including training courses, Modern Award directory and subscriptions and the Workplace Relations Advice Line.
