The Victorian Chamber will be targeting specific industry sectors for input from members over the coming weeks as it forms its policy and advocacy priorities in the lead-up to the State Election in November.

It’s critical for us to hear from members and the business community about the challenges and opportunities to a best-practice Victorian procurement system, especially when it involves construction and infrastructure projects essential to the prosperity of Victorians.

With a focus on accelerating growth, speeding up processes and allowing smaller businesses to participate in the procurement system, the Victorian Chamber wants to hear from the construction and infrastructure sector about the changes we should advocate for.

We would like to receive responses to questions like the following:

  • What challenges are there in the Victoria’s government procurement for the delivery of infrastructure and construction goods and services?
  • What changes should be made to the Procurement system in Victoria?
  • How can smaller businesses be further involved in Victorian government procurement?

To provide your thoughts, discuss this further or arrange a meeting, please contact the Victorian Chamber’s Policy and Advocacy team at policy@victorianchamber.com.au before Friday 5 August, 2022.

Recently we have issued consultation callouts to discuss Victoria’s:
