Mental Health Essentials: Your last chance to benefit from this free program

Since 2018, the Victorian Chamber’s Mental Health Essentials program has assisted over 180 businesses who employ young workers to build and maintain mentally healthy workplaces.

In these challenging times, looking after the mental health of your employees is more important than ever.

The free Mental Health Essentials program will be finishing in September 2021, and the Victorian Chamber has limited places available for small and medium-sized businesses who want to understand how to support their staff and provide psychologically safe workplaces.

After September 2021, this program will no longer be free.

Participant in the Mental Health Essentials program will receive:

  • Tailored advice focused on your areas of need with practical support from experts
  • Action plans to improve mental health in your workplace through simple steps
  • Training to upskill your managers and workers with mental health training
  • Access to useful resources to support you throughout the program and beyond.

“We found the session very informative and helped us to see that whilst we are ticking so many boxes for a mentally healthy workplace there are areas we can adjust to make improvements,” said one manager who took place in the course.

“It has been a struggle in 2020 and to be given the knowledge on things we can do to try improve our mental health is great,” said an employee.
