The McCarthy Plumbing Group joined the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in early 2020. We have utilised our membership in many ways, including undertaking courses such as the Mentally Health Workplace training. This training was free and has made such an impact on our workplace. We knew we wanted to ensure our workplace was mentally safe for our team but had no idea where to start. The training included a manager’s workshop, a full team training session and a follow-up survey. This workshop has provided us with the tools and confidence needed to improve our business and its team culture.

Our team also uses the connect employment benefits program, which is such a fabulous tool for rewarding our team and also for talent acquisition as this is an added benefit in joining our team.
