HSW Business Partners
Focusing on safety makes good business sense. The HSW consulting team works with you to develop safety solutions that enable your organisation to deliver exceptional performance.
Regardless of the level of safety maturity at your organisation, we can tailor our services to suit your individual business needs and ultimately ensure your employees, clients and visitors are safe and healthy in the workplace.
We invite you to explore our HSW services to learn precisely how our expertise can help your business reach your safety goals and describe below what you can typically expect when engaging a consultant..
The consulting process
Our consulting services start with an email or phone call where you, the client or member, can describe the HSW issues you are facing. Our team will ask you some preliminary questions to get a better understanding of how we can help and to determine the scope of services that are needed to achieve the desired outcomes.
In many cases, our consultants will need to make an on-site visit to gather information to form a report. We will meet with the HSW manager and conduct assessments, audits, take photographs of objects or people completing their work or even interviews with relevant staff members where appropriate.
The right solutions for the right people
While we are working with your business, our consultants involve key stakeholders where possible. Our objective is to develop solutions that work for the people who need to use them. To that end, we ensure we seek information that informs us about the individual nature of your work environment, and the way you like to work, so any recommended measures are accepted and readily adopted.
Consulting reports
After the site visit is complete, we will produce a clear and easy to understand report outlining what was discovered during the visit. In many cases the report will include photographs taken on site, prioritise action items in order of urgency and severity, and detail recommendations about how to improve safety at your business. If you would like to discuss any aspect of the report, or ask any questions, our consultants are always available by phone or email for follow-up communication.
Seconded consultants
Secondments can be a useful and effective way to make sure that an organisation has the right set of capabilities at the right time. We can provide you with a qualified HSW consultant who will be ready to 'hit the ground running’ saving your business time and money and addressing any skill or recruitment gaps.
A seconded resource can further assist your business by providing another set of eyes and knowledge to your businesses current occupational health and safety (OHS) risks and hazards and can provide advice, recommendations and assistance where required.
There are no time restrictions with the secondment; we can be with you for as long as you need our help, whether on a full-time or part-time basis.
