Most people know that mental health problems are common and disabling. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence based first aid course which, like traditional first aid, teaches an easy to remember 'Action Plan' (ALGEE) which can be drawn upon when providing support.
This course enables participants to become accredited Mental Health First Aiders after successful completion of an online assessment which is valid for 3 years.
It is invaluable in today's workplace to ensure there are people who know how to offer help to someone showing the signs and symptoms of a developing mental health problem or a mental health crisis.
