The Federal Government has three clear IR objectives including creating: an economy that works for everyone, better working conditions, and safe workplaces.

The Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs , Better Pay) Act 2022 introduced significant changes to enterprise bargaining, pay secrecy and fixed term contracting. Changes are expected to continue with a focus on redefining casual employment, introducing a national labour hire scheme, a federal form of wage theft, and the controversial ‘same job, same pay’ policy.
