Small business will take centre stage for the month of August as Victoria celebrates the achievements and economic contribution of small business and looks ahead to helping them prosper.

The Small Business Festival Victoria is in its 11th year and in 2016 will see more than 400 events taking place across the state and online. Among these are our own workplace relations updates, which give vital information and advice around navigating workplace laws.

Small businesses make up 98 per cent of all Victorian businesses, they are major employers and key drivers of economic activity, investment and trade, so it’s important that they have the tools, knowledge and support to succeed.

For those in Melbourne, the Festival Hub at Donkey Wheel House will host a range of networking events, information sessions and workshops, and those in metropolitan and regional areas do not miss out, with events focusing on every aspect of succeeding in contemporary business.

The Small Business Festival Victoria runs from 1 to 31 August.
