Now worth hundreds of millions of dollars, Jessica’s brand comprises a range of supplements, skincare and haircare, mobile app and best-selling books. Jessica admits she didn’t envision such success from the outset.

“I don’t think I could have predicted for this to be my reality. I just wanted to be a damn good nutritionist and private practice,” she says.

Jessica attributes an unhealthy relationship with herself and food that led to “torturous dieting”, before studying a Bachelor of Health and Nutrition, which proved to be a turning point in her life.

“I was learning in my studies that whole foods help our body to thrive. And I got excited. I thought maybe there is a better way to live a healthy life.”

That planted the seed for JS Health. Jessica started a blog documenting her struggles with food. From this grew her “passion project”.

“I was very candid and open and I kept it private for six months. Then one day my husband, who was my boyfriend at the time, said, ‘I think you should pop this live. I think it will help so many people’.

“I put the blog live, and that’s how JS Health began exactly 10 years ago.

“That’s where I got introduced to the most extraordinary JS Health community. And together for the last 10 years, we’ve been on a journey to embrace the healthy life with balance.”

Her online posts quickly amassed a dedicated following, which led to three book deals, an eight-week JSHealth program and a smartphone app.

Today she runs the multimillion-dollar wellness brand with her husband, which is stocked at Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, and an extensive range of overseas retailers.

She is now planning her global takeover as they continue pushing their brand across Britain, the United States, and throughout Asia.
