The special breakfast event at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre will help business learn more about the benefits of ESG.

‘Why ESG is good business’ will be headlined by international keynote speaker Bea Boccalandro, the author of critically acclaimed book Do Good at Work: How Simple Acts of Social Purpose Drive Success and Wellbeing.

Bea Boccalandro

The Victorian Chamber is proud to announce the panel of expert speakers for the event, who will share real life examples of ESG across different industries and how it has contributed to their businesses:

  • Michael Hardwick, Chief Financial Officer, Cotton On
  • Justine Felton, Group Social Sustainability Manager, Stockland
  • Sally Curtain, Chief Executive Officer, Bendigo Kangan Institute
  • Jim Antonopoulos, Managing Director, Tank.

Michael Hardwick

Mr Hardwick joined the Cotton On Group in 2009. He has played an active role in steering business growth while helping shape the vision and strategy for the group’s future.

Michael is unwavering in the Cotton On Group’s commitment to The Good – the ability to create meaningful change. He also sits on the Board of the Cotton On Foundation, the Group’s philanthropic arm.

Mr Hardwick will speak about integrating ‘Doing Good’ purpose into business strategy and benefits for Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and Contingent Value Proposition (CVP).

Sally Curtain

Ms Curtain is an accomplished public sector senior executive with experience in leading transformational change across state and local government.

She has driven an ambitious strategy and organisational transformation program at Bendigo Kangan Institute, which was recognised as the 2022 Victorian and Australian Large Provider of the Year.

Ms Curtain will speak about sustainability on a shoestring with focus on First Nations social procurement.

Jim Antonopoulos

Jim Antonopoulos is the managing director of strategy and innovation consultancy, Tank, closing the gap between brand, organisational culture and leadership.

Tank has been a globally-accredited B-Corporation (recognised as leaders in the global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy) since 2016, and a well-respected advocate for business as a force for good in the sectors they work in.

Mr Antonopoulos will speak about re-orienting a business model to focus on purpose and achieving B-Corporation accreditation as a small business.

Justine Felton

Ms Felton is an executive with more than 20 years’ experience in social impact across the not-for-profit, business and government sectors in the United Kingdom and Australia.

As group social sustainability manager at Stockland, she leads the social strategy and its business integration across the diversified portfolio of assets.
