Future Leader Program course promotion

By redeeming a promotional code or offer advertised and/or issued by VCCI (Promo Code), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions of use (which must be read in conjunction with the VCCI Terms and Conditions) 
1. The Promo Code will be valid from 9AM (AEST) TUESDAY, 19 MARCH 2024 until 5PM (AEST) on SUNDAY, 30 JUNE 2024 (Promotion Period). 
2. The Promo Code cannot be used in conjunction with member credits or any other offer unless explicitly stated in these Terms.
3.

The Promo Code only applies to selected training courses listed below that are booked and attended until 30 JUNE 2024 and is not transferable to any other course offered by VCCI.

  • Day to Day Management and Supervision of Staff
  • The Effective New Manager
  • From Manager to Leader
4. The Promo Code is not redeemable for cash. 
5. The Promo Code must be used within the Promotion Period. No extensions will be allowed unless otherwise advised by VCCI in writing. 
6. VCCI reserves the right to verify the validity of the Promo Code at any time and take appropriate action for any unauthorised use. 
7. VCCI reserves the right to remove the Promo Code without notice at any time.

Terms & Conditions of Entry

Conditions of Entry
Item 1: Promotion Victorian Business Voice Survey
Item 2: Promoter Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ABN 37 650 959 904) of Level 3, 150 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (VCCI). 
Item 3: Promotion Period 

The Promotion Period begins at 9:00AM on 8 FEBRUARY 2024 and ends at 11.59PM on 20 FEBRUARY 2024. 

Additional promotional periods may be introduced at the discretion of the Promoter. In this instance, this Conditions of Entry document will be updated accordingly.
Item 4: Prize Draw Date  10.00AM on 21 FEBRUARY 2024 
Item 5: Draw Method

The winner will be selected at random via electronic draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period specified in Item 3.

The draws will take place at Level 3, 150 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 at the time detailed above. 
Item 6: How to Enter

To enter the Promotion, during the Promotion Period, entrants must:

  • Register their full contact details as prompted;
  • Complete and submit the online survey; and
  • Proceed to enter the Promotion.
Item 7: Prize 

3 x successful entrant will win the following Prize:

  • 1 x $500.00 Mastercard prepaid gift card 

Total prize pool is valued at $1,500.00. 
Item 8: Notification of Winners

Winners will be notified in writing by email and by phone, if required.
Item 9: Restrictions to Entry 
  1. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
  2. Directors, officers, management, and employees (and immediate family) of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
  3. Multiple entries are not permitted.
Terms and Conditions 

These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read in conjunction with the ‘Conditions of Entry’ table above.

Entry
1. Entry to the Promotion is voluntary and fulfilment of the entry requirements in Item 6 constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity and details) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Draw and Prizes
4. Prizes awarded are final and are not interchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
5. The winner will receive an email from the Promoter with the Prize, unless otherwise advised.
6. The entrant acknowledges that if successful in being awarded the Prize, the Prize is subject to availability and/or changes in the Promoter’s absolute discretion.
7. The Promoter will not be liable to any entrant and/or winner for any cancellation, changes or unavailability of the Prizes. This includes, but is not limited to, the inability to retrieve the Prize from the email address it was issued to, for whatever reason.
8. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason the Promoter reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
9. Prizes are subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier of the prize or the Promoter, including but not limited to, validity and expiration periods.
10. Any ancillary costs incurred as a result of taking the Prize are not included in the Promotion or Prize and are the responsibility of the winners.
Promotion Changes
11. If the Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated by the Promoter, due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to the fullest extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate in the discretion of the Promoter.
Reserve Entries
12. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries, and record them in the order they are drawn, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.
General
13. All times specified in the Promotion are in Victoria, Australia timezone (AEST or AEDT, as applicable).
14. Where a competition is promoted on Facebook, entrants acknowledge this competition is in no way associated with, administered or endorsed by Facebook. Any information disclosed by entrants entering this competition is not provided to Facebook.
15. The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, late or delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
16. The Promoter (including their respective officers, employees and agents) will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) by any person in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using a Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
17. The Promoter may use the services of a third party to conduct the survey and aggregate and analyse data. By completing and submitting the survey, entrants acknowledge that third party terms and conditions may apply.
18. Data received from the survey will be used by VCCI to determine demand for current and future service offerings and by participating in the survey, you grant VCCI an ongoing, irrevocable and royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and/or communicate any of your de identified survey answers.
19. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to other third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.
20. The Promoter uses and handles personal information gathered from this Promotion as set out in its Privacy Policy, available upon request and via https://www.victorianchamber.com.au/legal/privacy-policy.
21. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy or has been agreed between the entrant and the Promoter outside of this Promotion, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use entrant’s personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages (email and/or SMS), adding the entrant to the VCCI Community (as that term is referred to in Clause 3.11 of the https://www.victorianchamber.com.au/legal/vcci-terms-and-conditions) and/or telephoning the entrant.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole discretion, with such updates including but not limited to, extending the Promotion Period.

Item 3: Promotion Period 

The Promotion Period takes place over nine rounds as follows:

Item 4: Prize Draw Date

Item 5: Prize claim

The Prize from the Prize Draw Date must be claimed within two (2) business days of notification being sent to the winner.
Item 6: Draw method

The winner will be selected at random via electronic draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period specified in Item 3. 

The draws will take place at Level 3, 150 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 at the time detailed above in Item 4. 
Item 7: How to Enter

To enter the Promotion, during the Promotion Period entrants must: 

  • Register their full contact details as prompted; and 
  • Complete and submit any online post-event survey for a VCCI event held within the Promotion Period.  
Item 8: Prize

One (1) successful entrant will win the following Prize each month within the Promotion Period:  

  • 1 x $250 digital pre-paid MasterCard 

Total prize pool is valued at approximately $2,250 inc. GST. 
Item 9: Notifcation of Winner

Winners will be notified in writing by email, and by phone if required, within five (5) business days of the Prize Draw.
Item 10: Restrictions to Entry

1. Entry is open to all Victorian Chamber members aged 18 years and older. 
2. Directors, officers, management and employees (and immediate family) of the Promoter and any agencies or companies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. 
3. Multiple entries are not permitted.

9. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in a draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed by the relevant Prize Claim Date.
10. Where the Promoter has unsuccessfully attempted to contact any winners from the Prize Re-Draw Date, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory body, continue to conduct a Prize Re-Draw until the prize is successfully awarded.Promotion Changes
11. Any ancillary costs incurred as a result of taking the Prize are not included in the Promotion or Prize and are the responsibility of the winners.
Re-Draw
12. If the Promoter is unable to successfully award the Prize, for whatever reason, it may undertake a Re-Draw at the same place as the original draw as set out in Item 4 on [insert re-draw date] to distribute the unclaimed Prize/s. 
13. All non-winning entries from the original Prize Draw Date will be included in the Re-Draw. 
14. The winner from the Re-Draw will be notified in writing (via the contact details either supplied by the winner during the Promotion Period or at the time of purchase of a VCCI membership) within two (2) working days of the Re-Draw. This process will continue until a valid winning entry is drawn.
Promotion Changes
15. If the Promoter is unable to successfully award the Prize, for whatever reason, it may undertake a Re-Draw at the same place as the original draw as set out in Item 4 on re-draw date to distribute the unclaimed Prize/s. 
16.
