This is the message the Victorian Chamber will be championing through the launch of our Safe In Our Hands campaign to signal the business community is ready to welcome back customers and clients in a COVIDSafe manner.

Business is ready and excited to welcome staff and customers back and we are motivated to ensure that we stay open for good.

The Safe In Our Hands campaign shows our business community is doing their bit to make the return to COVID-Normal safe. These efforts should provide comfort to customers and alleviate anxiety around being out in the community when restrictions permit.

Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chief Executive Paul Guerra said the campaign will showcase that business is ready and motivated to do what it takes to reopen and stay open.

“We’ve seen Victoria’s ambition to get back to our way of life and work through our state’s fantastic efforts to get vaccinated and now businesses stand ready to play their part to make their operations COVIDSafe – including signage, hand sanitiser stations, prominent QR code check in displays and staff training,” he said.

“The Safe In Our Hands campaign highlights and celebrates that our business community is ready to welcome back customers and staff to a COVIDSafe environment and aims to alleviate anxiety or hesitancy about getting back out there as restrictions permit.

“Victorian businesses are committed to preserving the health and safety of their valued customers, clients, workers and suppliers. We have been through a lot, but we’re ready to do what we love again. Victorians are safe in our hands.”

Businesses can get involved in the campaign by showcashing COVIDSafe practices through Safe In Our Hands signage and by using the hashtag #safeinourhands across social and digital channels.
