Victorian Chamber unveils Australian-first cost of doing business index

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry today released its Cost and Ease of Doing Business in Victoria Report which features an Australian-first index that ranks the cost of doing business across all states and territories, member survey results and feedback from roundtables. This was part of the Cost and Ease of Doing Business Taskforce, headed by Victorian Chamber Vice President Adrian Kloeden and Regional Chair – Bendigo Kate Mannix.

Online series to help regional business COVID-19 recovery

After multiple postponements as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry supported by Crown Melbourne has announced its highly anticipated Regional Business Recovery Roadshow will become a free online series. The business recovery sessions will include practical information for farmers, suppliers and producers on how to respond to tenders and understand the decision-making criteria for large hospitality vendors.
