Financial wellbeing can be broadly defined as having enough money to meet your current commitments and needs comfortably today and maintain this into the future.

How financial wellbeing affects the workplace

Financial insecurity can cause stress and anxiety, affecting your employees’ ability to concentrate as well as impacting their productivity. They might worry about everyday expenses like their mortgage or rent, bills and putting food on the table. They may also worry about their future, including saving for retirement or a lack of retirement savings.

Financial pressure can also be reason for an employee to start looking for a new job or a second job that could divert attention from their primary employer.

• Online education tools: Our online education tools and calculators can help your employees understand financial basics like budgets and how super works. Plus, they can learn at their own pace.
• One-on-one support: Your employees can book a one-on-one session with your relationship manager. Our relationship managers can help your employees with questions about their super and setting and achieving financial goals.
• Super education and seminars: In 2022, we conducted over 56 workplace seminars (face-to-face in the workplace and online) to more than 1000 employees, helping to improve financial literacy and set your employees up for future financial success. We cover topics like insurance through super and choosing your investment options.
