Recognised for steering pioneering hospitality venues in Melbourne for 30 years, including Melbourne landmark, Grossi Florentino, Ombra Salumi Bar and Arlechin. Grossi also encompasses a hospitality consulting enterprise, events and Grossi a Casa - selection and production of quality goods.

Elizabeth’s passion and focus lie in building equitable organizational cultures and furthering hospitality as an aspirational industry including researching and creating leadership development in hospitality as well as elevating experiential value through research and practice.

Inaugurating The Grossi Florentino Cup Viewing Dinner which hosts The Melbourne Cup as part of the Melbourne Cup World Tour since 2003, founding and delivering the Melbourne Tomato Festival with increasing attendance in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Appointed to the Executive Council Member, Victoria Chamber of Commerce and Industry and in 2015 was acknowledged as a ‘Champion of Change’ by McAuley Community Services for Women for contribution to their objective of ending family violence and homelessness for women. Bringing people to the table has resulted in achieving two successive women’s employment contracts with Jobs Victoria and continued financial support from Australian Super. Over the years, McAuely has supported around 27 women a year into work through this opportunity.

A Graduate of The Australian Institute of Company Directors, Master of Enterprise Dean’s Honours List with The University of Melbourne, Co-writer and researcher for Guy Grossi International Specialised Skills Institute Fellowship and author of research paper “Reliance on Migrant Workers in Hospitality- a current crisis” 2022.
