Melanie Gleeson is a visionary entrepreneur and esteemed business leader, recognised for her significant contributions to the wellness industry. As the driving force behind an iconic Australian brand ‘endota’, Melanie has devoted herself to nurturing a two-decade-old business, empowering a women-led workforce with over 2000 employees. With a focus on sustainability and the environment, endota develops COSMOS certified and results-based skincare, delivering up to 1 million treatments annually across 110 spas, 3 training campuses with 300 students per annum, distribution in overseas markets, manufacturing in Australia and New Zealand and an online wellbeing platform. The foundational values of endota—Intent, Connect, Truth, and Balance—reflect in every aspect of the business and the brand.

Melanie believes in cause and effect and that there must be balance with nature and humanity within our own relationships. We need to connect with the community, with each other and importantly with our own needs.

Melanie’s passion to ignite human potential propels her and endota forward. Notable accomplishments include the global expansion of endota across 11 countries and the establishment of the endota Wellness College a testament to her dedication to holistic wellbeing and education.

Living consciously and giving back are core to Melanie’s values. Collaborating with indigenous women at the Marninwarntikura Resource Centre in Fitzroy Crossing, WA, showcasing their artwork on endota colour packaging, and sharing a percentage of sales since 2016, embodies this commitment.

As a recognised wellness entrepreneur, Melanie is regularly featured in print and broadcast media. She is a regular speaker and contributor to knowledge in the wellness industry and on heart-led leadership. Currently, Melanie Gleeson serves on several boards, including the endota Board, where she continues to guide and shape the strategic direction of the company. She is also an active member of the independent Woodleigh School Board, leveraging her expertise to support educational initiatives. Furthermore, her involvement in the KX Pilates advisory board and membership in the Victorian Chamber for Change highlights her dedication to promoting growth and positive change within diverse industries.

Her curiosity revolves around evolving reporting standards for companies, the changing landscape of labour preferences in Australia, and the imperative pursuit of gender equality—both in the workplace and at home—showcasing her dedication to societal and organisational advancements.
