Customised safety training

Our safety courses described above suit most businesses most of the time, but you may wish to customise the length, content, and branding of your training to suit your own needs. We can modify our courses to include:

  • your safety and injury management statistics (e.g., reporting rates, workers’ compensation premium, return to work outcomes, etc.)
  • references to your own policies and procedures
  • real and hypothetical case studies relevant to your industry
  • your branding
  • modifying content, tone, and style to maximise participant engagement (e.g., focusing on leadership, compliance, workplace culture, etc.)

We have successfully designed and delivered customised safety training for small businesses and large corporate clients across all industry types, across both government and the private sector.

This WorkSafe-approved course for Health and Safety Representatives will give you the knowledge and practical skills to deal effectively with OHS issues.

To exercise your powers and rights as a Health and Safety Representative (HSR) effectively, it is essential that you receive training. This course gives you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to represent your designated workgroup and to help make your workplace safer.

Practice safe manual handling

This interactive workshop provides managers and employees with the skills needed to prevent musculoskeletal injuries, the most common type of injury in Australian workplaces. Look after the wellbeing of your employees and avoid costly workers’ compensation claims by empowering your employees to identify, assess, and reduce manual handling risks.

In addition to understanding why musculoskeletal injuries happen and demonstrating safe lifting techniques, we train your employees to identify, assess and control manual handling risks in their own work areas, promoting a positive safety culture where employees and managers share responsibility for safe manual handling.

Any employee or manager whose work involves hazardous manual handling will benefit from this 90-minute course.

Running effective safety committee meetings

Many well-intentioned employers establish safety committees but struggle to transform them into dynamic forums that change workplace safety culture for the better.

This interactive workshop addresses the common challenges faced by safety committees, e.g., achieving regular attendance, productive and relevant discussion, meaningful action resulting from committee decisions, etc. Transform your safety committee into a positive, dynamic force for change within your business by regularly training new and existing members, and experience the positive benefits that having an effective safety committee can have on your business.

Safety committee members, including managers, employees, and safety specialists will benefit from this two-hour training
