These can help a fledgling enterprise establish itself or support an established business to sustain itself or grow to a new level.

Export assistance

Small Business Export Loan

The Small Business Export Loan provides small to medium export businesses with loans to cover up to 80% of the costs to secure an export contract or purchase order with an overseas buyer.

Australian Trusted Trader

Australian Trusted Trader provides businesses involved in importing and exporting with an accreditation to streamline and simplify customs processes.

Export Finance Australia: Bonds, Loans and Guarantees

Export Finance Australia provides small to medium export businesses with bonds as security for export contracts, loans to help with the finance needed to secure export contracts or purchase orders and a guarantee to help access finance from their bank.

Export Market Development Grants

Austrade’s Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) program helps Australian businesses grow their exports in international markets. These grants encourage small to medium enterprises market and promote their goods and services globally.

Trade Routes

This program provides support to First Nation businesses to help them build their capacity for international trade and growth.

Duty Drawback Scheme

The Duty Drawback Scheme provides exporters with a refund of customs duty paid on unused imported goods, or goods that will be treated, processed or incorporated into other goods for export.

Global Victoria Intellect Program

This program provides Victorian exporters with the opportunity to gain free market research intelligence.

Tradex Scheme

The Tradex Scheme provides a cash flow benefit for importers who subsequently export the goods. It will give you an upfront exemption from Customs duty and GST.

Women in Export

Austrade provides services for women doing business internationally. This includes market information, resources and advice to build a sustainable international business.
